Josh and Sara Carpenter Family
One of my favorite videos I have ever seen on social media, is of a little boy running around his neighborhood in a T-Rex costume. I don't know why, but any video of someone in a T-Rex costume automatically makes my day. That very boy was the cute red-head in this family. I already had a feeling that he would be a great kid and fun to interact with, and he certainly didn't disappoint. He was an absolute sweetheart and his brother and sister were equally as wonderful.
It was so great to catch up with Sara and Josh. Sara and I went to high school together. Josh went to the same high school as well, but he was a couple years older and I never had a chance to interact with him. I remember how Sara was always so kind and sweet whenever I saw her in the hallway. She was, and is, a genuinely nice person.
I was so amazed to hear of all of their success and their exciting lives up in Washington state. They run a successful business together, and I loved to hear how much they enjoy working with one another. They have been together for over 18 years, and they have a good love. I could tell that they laugh together often and that they have learned how to rely upon each other through all of life's ups and downs.
It was truly my pleasure to take these pictures. It got a bit cold and windy, but everyone was such a good sport and went along with the crazy weather. I'm so grateful Sara reached out and that we were able to get this session in. I truly had a magnificent time!
