St. George Family Photos in the Desert | Beutler Family Session
I was so excited when Kristi asked me to photograph their family this fall. Andy and Kristi are some of our dearest friends here in St. George, Utah, and it’s always such a joy to work with people we love. They’ve been so good to us over the years—and even brave enough to host us for dinner with all eight of our kids (I know… we’re a lot!).
For their session, Kristi requested a desert landscape with Joshua trees, which immediately made me think of a location I’d seen photos of years ago. I’d always wanted to explore it for a family photoshoot, and it did not disappoint. The scenery was breathtaking, the light was absolutely perfect, and it didn’t hurt that Andy, Kristi, and their children are such a photogenic family.
Sessions like this remind me why I love being a St. George family photographer. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to capture meaningful memories for wonderful families like the Beutlers. It truly is a privilege to work with such amazing people and to photograph families in these beautiful Utah desert landscapes.
