John and Chelsea Hudson Family
Are there times in your life where you feel lonely and just yearn to have a good friend? Shortly after we moved back to Cedar City, that is exactly how I felt. We were in transition, we didn't know where we would ultimately end up and I was in a pretty deep bout of depression.
I was in need of some sunshine and sat on my parents front porch to enjoy some rays. A cute little family was across the street riding bikes in the parking lot of the church and I decided to introduce myself. That is when I met Chelsea, and she was one of those friends I was desperately needing in my life.
She, like me, needs to be outside getting fresh air, sunshine and moving my body. She is in the busy phase of little kid life, where her children need to run and play and get their wiggles out. I was so happy to find a friend who made the effort to get herself and her children outside, and the best part was that my kids would see her kids riding bikes and I always knew when they were out there.
There may have been some days where Chelsea wanted some peace and quiet, but I usually joined her with my gaggle of children. She always makes me feel good about myself. She is genuine and true to herself. I love authentic people and Chelsea is one of those people.
I haven't had the pleasure of spending as much time with John, but he is a really good man. I always enjoy visiting with him when we are sitting in the church foyer with our busy one-year-olds. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect John and Chelsea to be so darn cute together during our session. I could tell that they are still deeply in love and have a good friendship. I simply wanted to spend another 20 minutes just capturing their cuteness.
I had so much fun during this session. The kiddos were so darling and I was so excited to get one cute shot after the other. This family is what I like to call a "true love family." They love each other deeply, through all of the hard and the messy. They stick it out and make it through. I love them all so much and feel so blessed to know them!
